From its casual beginning in Nantucket in 1987 (with seven boats) to its most recent iteration in Newport and St. Barths (where over 40 yachts are preparing to race), Bucket Regattas have captured sailors' imagination in a way that no other event can begin to approach.
The Bucket has attracted a growing coterie of devoted participants, loyal sponsors and supporters from Nantucket to St. Barths to Newport. The Bucket Book celebrates 25 years of unique megayacht racing.
